Plant collages

 I really liked the macro of the water droplets for this. I paired it with the moss picture because I thought the colors went well together.

 I paired these two pictures together because the colors are similar since they were taken of the same plant but from different parts of it.

 I really likes the dew drops in this picture. I also really like the focus of the picture above that its paired with.

 I thought that the colors for this were similar and looked nice together.

 I edited this by playing with the saturation and contrast. I really like the color that it is after being edited.

 I edited this to black and white because i liked how the dew drops looked when they were black and white.

 I took these on the same day and edited the colors with a pinkish tint.

 I paired these together because they both have daisies.

 I thought that the colors of the fence and the green of the moss went well together.

I like how the white flower looks paired with the plants from the green wall.

For my next series, I will be taking pictures of plants and natural objects and putting them into collages. I want to put pictures together that have similar colors or are in some way realted. I am also going to try different edits to make them look more interesting and unique.

Shade/ Shadows

 This shows the shade from the tree on the building. I decreased the brightness and increased the shadow buy a little.

 This shows the shadows from a tree on the sidewalk and on cars.

 This is a picture of the pavement in an area where it was shaded by trees. I like how it has geometric shaped, leading lines, and repetition.

 This is a picture of a moped that has shade and shadows on it from the different trees.

 This is a picture of a tree trunk leading up to the canopy of the tree. I t has leading lines in the bark and the tree is shading everything around it.

 This is a picture of stairs to a house which has many shades and leaves on it.

 This is a picture of a sun burst coming through the trees, where the trees are giving shade from the sun.

 I like that this picture had many shadows and light on the door of the house.

 This is a picture of a branch of a plant with shadows in the background. I increased the shadows and decreased the brightness. I also increased the saturation to make the branches more red.

This is a picture of flowers with shadows on top of the m. I increased the contrast and saturation.

Negative Space

 This is of a tree and the Ferry Building, the white sky is the negative space. I edited it to make it more dramatic.

 This is of an electricity pole, the sky is the negative space. I edited it to make it look warmer.

Experimental Style: Collages

I put this into a collage because unfocused city lights looked good and completed the picture of North Beach.

I put these two pictures because they both are very similar. The leaf and the seed go well together because they have  the same background with similar patterns. I also added an effect to change the colors.

THis collage, i think, goes well together because it is a picture of a person in nature and the second picture highlights a certain part of nature, the flower. 

I put these pictures together because they are of the same plant, but are taken at a different angle.

I put the pictures of the wood pile and the pine needles together because it has similar colors and the wood is from a pine tree.

I put this together because I thought that the branches looked good with the picture of Lotus at the beach because I thought that it looked good together in black and white.
